Partnerships that create more opportunities
We work alongside local authorities, schools, charities, businesses and national organisations to create more opportunities for people to be active.
Strong partnerships help us reach more communities, remove barriers and turn shared ideas into practical local activity.

Why partnership matters
The barriers that stop people being active are often linked to cost, transport, confidence, facilities and access to trusted support. No single organisation can solve these issues alone.
We bring local relationships, experienced staff and practical delivery. Our partners bring funding, facilities, specialist knowledge, community links and a shared commitment to creating better opportunities.
How we work with partners
Funders and national organisations: turning investment into accessible local activity.
Local authorities and community bodies: responding to local priorities and reaching communities with fewer opportunities.
Schools and education partners: building confidence, qualifications and routes into volunteering and employment.
Clubs, venues and delivery partners: sharing facilities, staff and local knowledge to provide consistent activities.
Partnerships in action
Our strongest projects grow from organisations identifying a shared need and working together from planning through to delivery. The examples below show how collaboration creates practical results for local people.
SJR Worksop: planning activity together
We work with SJR Worksop to develop joint funding bids and create new activity in Worksop South East. By combining local knowledge, community relationships and delivery experience, we can design projects around the needs of local residents and make a stronger case for investment.

Harworth Colliery FC: facilities and local delivery
Our partnership with Harworth Colliery FC supports holiday camps, community events and the development of facilities for local sport. Working together gives families access to a trusted local venue and helps us plan activities that can continue beyond a single funding period.

Serlby Park Academy: creating routes for young leaders
We work with Serlby Park Academy to deliver leadership qualifications, practical experience and real opportunities for young people to lead activity. Young leaders progress from training to volunteering and paid casual work, helping raise aspirations and create local career routes.

BPL and Your Space Bircotes: positive youth activity
Working with BPL through Your Space Bircotes helps us use accessible sport and youth activity to respond to anti-social behaviour. The partnership connects venue access, community knowledge and trusted coaches, giving young people positive opportunities at the times they are needed.

Funders and supporters
Our free and low-cost activities are made possible by trusts, foundations, public bodies and national organisations that invest in stronger communities. We value long-term relationships, clear reporting and honest conversations about local need.
